Rioult Dance NY Performance
Adrienne Arsht Center - Carnival Studio Theater
Friday-Saturday, Dec. 11-12, 2015
A leading modern dance company, Rioult Dance NY also boasts a classic sensibility. For more than 20 years, they have brought their own spin to their dance pieces under the guidance of Artistic Director and Choreographer Pascal Rioult. Their repertoire is comprised of more than 40 works including the four they will perform in Miami-City, Wien, Bolero and Views of the Fleeting World. This last was inspired by the woodblock prints of Hiroshige, the classical Japanese artist, as well as Bach's "The Art of Fugue." Wien is an interpretation of Ravel's compositions and Viennese Waltz. City explores the survival of the human spirit in a built-up environment. Ravel's famous Bolero closes the program.
The Arsht Center is only a 15-minute drive from Courtyard Cadillac Miami Beach Oceanfront. When you purchase your event tickets online, you can also buy a parking voucher for self-parking right at Arsht. Valet parking is another option, and costs $25. Both Rioult performances take place at 7:30 pm, so why not get something delicious to eat beforehand? BRAVA! is the Arsht's new fine dining destination, featuring a farm to table prix fixe menu. Reservations can be made when purchasing show tickets. A more casual option is the Café at Books & Books in Carnival Tower with outdoor seating and a full bar.
